Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RavenPyros website at www.ravenpyros.com, the RavenPyros’ Godforge Companion mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Raven Pyros, a business registered in the State of Tennessee ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Unofficial Fan Site Disclaimer: RavenPyros is an unofficial fan-made resource for Godforge. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Fateless Ltd. or the developers of Godforge. All game content and materials are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

To access certain features (ratings, guides, notebook, tier lists, etc.), you must create a free account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Free and Paid Features

The Service offers both free and paid features. Free features are available to all registered users and may be modified, added, or removed at any time without prior notice. Paid features require an active subscription as described below.

a. Subscription Tiers

We offer paid subscription plans ("Supporter" tiers) that provide additional features such as the personal notebook, supporter badges, and other perks. The specific features, pricing, and tier names are displayed on the Membership page and may change over time.

b. Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) in US dollars through Stripe or linked via Patreon.
  • Your subscription automatically renews each billing cycle unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
  • Prices may change with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the change is announced.

c. Upgrades and Downgrades

  • Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current tier until then.

d. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Membership page or your Stripe/Patreon account.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until then.
  • We do not issue partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

e. Refunds

  • Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
  • If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using paid features for an extended period, contact us at support@ravenpyros.com and we will evaluate your case.
  • Refund requests should be made within 14 days of the charge.

f. Data After Cancellation

If your subscription ends:

  • Your notebook data (notes and tasks) is retained in our system but becomes inaccessible until you resubscribe.
  • Your supporter badge will be removed from your profile and contributions.
  • Your Discord supporter role will be removed during the next sync.
  • You may request permanent deletion of your notebook data at any time by contacting us.

4. User Content

a. Your Contributions

You may submit content to the Service, including guides, data corrections, translations, ratings, tier lists, and team builds ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

  • Retain ownership of your original content
  • Grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and modify your User Content as part of the Service, including after account termination
  • Represent that your content does not infringe any third party’s rights

b. Personal Content (Notebook)

Notes and tasks created in the personal notebook are for your personal use and are not covered by the content license above. Notebook content is only visible to you through the Service. We may access notebook data as needed for service operation, support, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.

c. Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit or store content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
  • Contains sexually explicit or violent material
  • Infringes intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, spam, or deceptive content
  • Impersonates another person or entity
  • Violates the privacy of others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

5. Contribution Points

The Service awards contribution points for community activities (guides, corrections, translations, etc.). Points are:

  • A non-transferable measure of community participation
  • Not redeemable for cash or any monetary value
  • Subject to adjustment or reset at our discretion

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written permission
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or rate limits
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service to distribute unsolicited messages or advertisements

7. Intellectual Property

  • The RavenPyros name, logo, and original website design are our intellectual property.
  • Game data, hero images, and other Godforge assets are the property of Fateless Ltd. and are used under fair use for informational and community purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Patreon, Discord, and Google. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, your account information, subscription data, and User Content may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity. We will notify you of any such transfer and any changes to these Terms that may result.

10. Service Availability

  • We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice for paid features.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Game data displayed on the Service is complete or accurate (as Godforge is in active development, data is subject to change)
  • Any specific results will be achieved from using the Service

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Raven Pyros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Raven Pyros from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

For material changes affecting paid subscriptions (pricing, refund policy, feature availability), we will provide at least 30 days’ notice.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Raven Pyros regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.

18. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by Raven Pyros to be effective.
