c. Personal Notebook Data (Supporters)

If you are a paid supporter, you may use the personal notebook feature to create private notes and to-do lists attached to specific game content. This data is:

  • Stored on our servers in your user account
  • Synchronized across devices (website and mobile app)
  • Only visible to you through the Service — your notes and tasks are not displayed to other users
  • Deletable at any time by you

If your paid subscription ends, your notes and tasks are retained but become inaccessible until a subscription is reactivated. You may request permanent deletion at any time.

d. Payment Information

We use Stripe to process subscription payments. When you subscribe:

  • Your payment details (credit card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • We store a Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, billing period dates, and subscription status in our database to manage your membership.

e. Third-Party Account Data

If you choose to link third-party accounts, we collect limited information from those services:

  • Patreon: If you link your Patreon account, we receive your Patreon user ID, email address, and membership tier to synchronize your supporter status. Patreon’s privacy policy: privacy.patreon.com
  • Discord: If you link your Discord account via OAuth, we store your Discord user ID to synchronize supporter roles on our Discord server. We do not access your Discord messages, servers, or contacts. Discord’s privacy policy: discord.com/privacy
  • Google: If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address for authentication only.

f. Log & Device Data

Our servers automatically collect information when you access the Service, including: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, and other diagnostic data.

  • Payment processor (Stripe): To process your subscription payments
  • Patreon: To verify and sync your Patreon membership, if linked
  • Discord (Bot API): To assign/remove supporter roles on our Discord server, if linked
  • Analytics providers: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data for analytics purposes
  • Legal requirements: If required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable government request
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity

4. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
  • Notebook data: Retained as long as your account exists. If your subscription ends, data is retained but becomes inaccessible. Permanently deleted on account deletion.
  • Payment records: Subscription metadata is retained for accounting and dispute resolution purposes, even after account deletion, as required by law.
  • Community contributions: Ratings, guides, corrections, and translations may be retained in anonymized form after account deletion to preserve community data integrity.
  • Log data: Retained for a reasonable period for operational and security purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing
  • Payment card data is processed exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
