This Privacy Policy explains how the RavenPyros’ Godforge Companion mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects your information. The App is operated by Raven Pyros, a business registered in the State of Tennessee ("we," "us," or "our").
1. Information Collection and Use
The App is designed to be usable for browsing without requiring an account. However, to access interactive features such as submitting ratings, following creators, or using the personal notebook, you must log in using your RavenPyros website account. Your use of the App is also subject to our Terms of Service.
Account Information
When you log in, we collect and associate the following with your account:
- Email address and username
- Activity data such as item ratings, tier list votes, and guide interactions
- Membership tier and status (if applicable)
Personal Notebook Data
If you are a paid supporter, you may use the personal notebook feature to create notes and to-do lists attached to specific game content (heroes, weapons, armor sets, PvE stages, etc.). This data is:
- Stored on our servers in your user account and synchronized across your devices
- Cached locally on your device using AsyncStorage for faster loading and offline access
- Only visible to you through the App — your notes and tasks are not displayed to other users
- Deletable at any time by you, either individually or in bulk
If your paid subscription ends, your existing notes and tasks are retained in our database but become inaccessible until a subscription is reactivated. You may request permanent deletion of this data at any time by contacting us.
Local Storage
The App uses on-device storage (AsyncStorage) to cache:
- Authentication tokens for maintaining your login session
- Notes and task data for faster loading
- User preferences (theme, collapsed panels, etc.)
This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to third parties. You can clear this data by logging out or uninstalling the App.
Log Data & Analytics
We may collect non-personal information that your device sends whenever you use the App. This may include your device’s IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, timestamps of usage, and other diagnostic statistics.
We may use third-party services (such as Expo and Google Play Services) that collect information used to identify your device for analytics and crash reporting purposes.
2. Membership & Payment Data
The App displays your membership status if you are a paid supporter. All payment processing is handled through our website (ravenpyros.com) using the following third-party services:
- Stripe — processes credit card payments. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
- Patreon (optional) — if you link your Patreon account, we receive your Patreon membership tier and email to sync your supporter status. Patreon’s privacy policy: privacy.patreon.com
The App itself does not process payments directly. It reads your membership status from your RavenPyros account.
3. Third-Party Integrations
The App connects to your RavenPyros account on ravenpyros.com via a secure API. If you have linked the following services through the website, the App may display related information:
- Discord — we store your Discord user ID (if you link your Discord account) to sync supporter roles. We do not access your Discord messages or server data.
- Patreon — we store your Patreon user ID and membership tier to sync supporter status.
4. User-Generated Content
When you submit a rating, your feedback is aggregated into a "Community Grade." If you are part of the "Content Creator" group, your rating may be displayed individually to other users. By submitting content through the App (ratings, votes, or other contributions), you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and modify that content as part of the Service, including after account termination.
5. Account Management & Deletion
You may manage your profile and request account deletion through the RavenPyros website members area or by contacting us at support@ravenpyros.com. Account deletion will permanently remove:
- All personal notes and tasks
- Your membership record (active subscriptions should be cancelled first)
- Any linked third-party account associations
Community contributions (ratings, votes, guides, corrections, and translations) may be retained in anonymized form to preserve community data integrity.
6. Data Security
We use commercially acceptable means of protecting your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission between the App and our servers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this page periodically.
