Privacy Policy for RavenPyros Helper for Godforge

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the RavenPyros Helper for Godforge browser extension ("the Extension") handles information. The Extension is a companion for Godforge Duels, the Godforge mini-game on godforge.gg. Versions up to 1.3 were called the Godforge Quests Helper.

The Extension is an unofficial fan tool: it is not made, checked or supported by the Godforge team. It never asks for your Godforge login or password.

2. What the Extension Sends

We do not collect personal data. The Extension sends nothing to ravenpyros.com or anyone else, except in two cases you start yourself: listing a Duel a Friend room, and saving a deck to your Godforge Armory (both below).

The Extension only works on godforge.gg pages you have open, and it never plays, clicks or makes choices for you. It:

  • Reads your Godforge Duels progress (free rewards, quests, things to claim) from the same game data godforge.gg already loads in that tab, and shows it in a small panel.
  • Adds links from the Godforge reward choices (hero, weapon, imprint) to the matching pages on RavenPyros.
  • Reads the room code from the Duel a Friend screen, so you can list your room.
  • While a Godforge Duels page is open, checks ravenpyros.com for open duel rooms (the number for its button, the list when you open the panel or the "Join a room" screen) so you can copy a code. Those requests send no information about you.
  • In the Godforge Armory, when you arrive from a RavenPyros deck's "Send to Godforge" button, reads your card collection and saved decks to show which of that deck's cards you own (see Deck import below).

Listing a Duel a Friend room

When you create a room in Godforge Duels, the Extension offers to list it so someone can join. Only if you click "List this room" does it send the 5-character room code and the optional note you typed to ravenpyros.com.

  • While the room is listed, the Extension checks in with ravenpyros.com about every 20 seconds, sending only the listing number and a random key that proves the listing is yours.
  • The room code and note are shown publicly on Open Duel Rooms and posted in the RavenPyros Discord server. They are taken down when someone joins, you leave the room or you close the tab.
  • No account, name, email or Godforge profile data is sent.
  • Like any website, ravenpyros.com receives your IP address with these requests. It keeps only a one-way hash of it, to limit how many rooms can be listed from one place.
  • You can turn room listing off in the Extension's popup ("List my duel rooms").

Deck import

"Send to Godforge" on a RavenPyros deck opens the Godforge Armory with the deck's code in its address.

  • The Extension fetches that public deck from ravenpyros.com by its code. Like any website, ravenpyros.com receives your IP address with that request.
  • In the godforge.gg tab it reads your card collection and your saved decks, the same way the Armory does, to show which of the deck's cards you own. None of this is sent to ravenpyros.com or anyone else.
  • Only if you own every card, click "Save to my Armory" and confirm does it save the deck to your Godforge account, as a new deck, with the same request the Armory's own Save button sends. It never changes or deletes your other decks.
  • You can turn deck import off in the Extension's popup ("Deck import").

Apart from a room you choose to list and a deck you choose to save, no information about your game account, browsing history or personal identity is sent to our servers or any third party.

3. Local Storage

The Extension uses your browser's extension storage, on your device only, to keep:

  • Your settings (which features are on, and your reminder time).
  • The last day you opened Godforge Duels and your Duels login-day count, so it can remind you to log in.

This data never leaves your device. Removing the Extension deletes it.

4. Notifications

Desktop notifications are off by default. If you turn them on, the Extension asks for your browser's notification permission and uses it only for the once-a-day Duels login reminder.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Godforge: The Extension works on godforge.gg. Your use of the game itself is subject to Godforge's own Privacy Policy.
  • RavenPyros Website: Links open pages on RavenPyros. If you click them, you will go to ravenpyros.com, which is subject to its own privacy practices. Rooms you choose to list are sent to ravenpyros.com and posted in the RavenPyros Discord server, as described in section 2. Deck import fetches the deck you chose from ravenpyros.com.
